I’m back!

August 19, 2008

Hey folks! I am back from my summer vacation trip. Actually two weeks ago :) I have a great time with my friends and family. I travelled Eastern Ukraine, visited the capital of this region and 3 times I were at the river and lakes. In the end I went to the football match. You know, the real one. Because I’ve never was at real match I was really excited. Too bad, maybe I had cold or something, but in the end of the match I’ve had a blood from my nose. :(

So time to get to the work and study. I am currently looking to get a new part job additionally to the job I am doing with my dad at this time , something that I can do at the second part of the day after the Uni. Need to get some money to spend :D

Got the new phone week ago. Actually it’s not really just a phone, it’s a Symbian based smartphone; My first smartphone ever :D Really enjoying it every day. It has GPS, Wi-Fi, Nokia and Google Maps pre-installed, so you can find a place to go, calculate distance, etc. Very useful. I love to have Skype on it as well, so I can call for free to my friends.  With a Core Player, I can play any sort of movie file. Anyway, there is a lot of other software out there to expand possibilities of your smartphone.

Later, I’ll upload pics to some of my web albums and I let you know, guys. Need some time to sort everything. Little busy preparing for the Uni right now.

Cheers!

Heavy rain ruined the mood slightly, but music and atmosphere were great.
But I just could not stay at home, even in the rain. :D I am glad I was there.

Paul McCartney in Kiev!

June 10, 2008

On Saturday 14th June 2008, 21:00 at the invitation of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, Paul McCartney will perform to hundreds of thousands of people in Independence Square, Kiev, Ukraine. This groundbreaking event has been named Independence Concert. Paul’s special show will be free to attend and will be broadcasted live on Novy TV.

This exciting event will be seen as symbolic for several generations of Ukrainians. It will allow people of different ethnicities and religions, political preferences and geopolitical orientations to come together around the ideas of peace, love and unity; the very ideas that Paul McCartney with The Beatles helped bring into the World. Independence Concert is an independent social initiative that aims to strengthen the confidence and understanding in the Ukrainian society.

Independence Concert appeals to the ideals that helped 30 years ago to melt down the ice of the ‘cold war’ in the hearts of millions and changed the world into a better place. Today the ideology that forms the core of Ukrainian independence is shared with Paul McCartney’s own ideology. Independence Concert serves to promote happiness, freedom, love and peace not only in the Ukraine but also to the entire World.

This historic concert will be broadcast live on screens in 5 cities across the Ukraine – Lviv, Kharkov, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odessa for those who can’t make it to Kiev.

Isn’t that great? I am definitely planning to visit it! You can also visit an official web site to find some more info:

It’s Finally Here! The price is great. The features are great as well! But it’s still unavailable in Ukraine. Damn you Jobs!

Woohoo! June is here. And it’s beautiful, because it’s a first day of Summer season. Not so many plans to do this season. A lot of work in Uni right now, but after that I’ll plan to visit (finally) my home town. I hope it should be happens in this month. I need a good break from the city.
One of my good friends is in USA right now. She flew there with their group mates from University of foreign languages. Very nice. What an awesome practice.

My friends birthday is coming soon. Her name is Jaslyn. 18 of June to be exactly. :)
Last few weeks I have thinking about what I have to gift. Well, today I finally found what I *hope* she likes.

That’s all for these days. Gotta watch Discovery channel and sleep ^^
Bye!
