So few days ago I was watching news on my local TV channel and they had a report about releasing new limited collection of Simpsons stamps from United Stated Postal Service. I’ve immediately asked my friend from US to order a package for me He was really glad and bought them right away. Can’t wait to receive them and I love all this postage stuff that is coming from friends overseas

Вернувшись с зимнего отпуска окончательно понял, что я помешан на открытках Незаметно для себя обнаружил это. Всегда получал кайф от новой открытки, особенно от других, а ещё больше, когда с другой страны или города. Просто обажаю это! Ведь открытка – это та маленькая частица места, где ты ещё небыл, или наоборот, – уже побывал и хочешь оставить воспоминания о нём.

Далее, о наболевшем. Не люблю сопли в дневниках, но всё же кое что произошло значительное в моей жизни. Это что то что всегда сидело внутри и согревалось временем, а наружу выплескнулось совсем недавно. Описывать желания нет, но хочу поблагодарить своих друзей, которые в этот период не отвернулись, а поддержали меня. Большое спасибо, я действительно получил стоящие советы. Отдельное спасибо, вещи которая поддержала меня не меньше. Музыке. Да, именно она вдохновляла, давала силы, разслабляла, и делилась переживаниями со мной.

10 лет с Gran Turismo

10 лет назад, в далёком 1998 году, свершилось событие которое навсегда изменило представление геймеров о том, как должен выглядеть настоящий симулятор вождения.

Для первого поколения Playstation игра выглядела великолепно, как в плане физики так и в плане графики. Разработчики, начиная с первой части, добавляют в игру максимум интересного, что бы продлить удовольствие на долго: начиная от великого множества машин и трасс до разного рода режимов игры.

На мой вгляд большая популярность GT обусловлена тем, что в неё могут играть все: от казуалов до опытных игроков. Именно для этого в игре с первой по последнюю серии предусмотрены два режима: Arcade и Simulator. Напомню, что игра является самой популярной на платформе Playstation (почти 11 миллионов копий). С появлением каждой серии разработчики внедряли множество интересных функций, которые просто таки не давали вам оторваться от игры.

Gran Turismo – это целая эпоха. Эпоха геймеров воспитанных на этой серии. Именно она одна из первых задавала те планки, к которым стремились создатели остальных симов. Саундреки неизменного Даики Кашо (Daiki Kasho) и грамотно подобранные композиции отлично подходят под видеоряд того, что происходит на экране.

К слову, мы с друзьями до сих пор играем в первую часть каждый год. Может это ностальгия по былым временам, когда мы сутками сидели перед теликом настраивая наши машины до совершенства и потом соревнуясь между собой, а может это любовь на всю жизнь

“Initially, Gran Turismo was an “alternative” racing game, an outsider in the genre. We made it thinking that it would be okay as long as it reached out to “the select few who would agree with us”. So this figure, 50 million units – is simply astounding.

Back from the Western Ukraine

Hai guys! Yeah. I’m back from the trip today. So… I’ve been there for a while lol: 6 days to be exactly ^^ A bit longer that I’ve expected and, I’m not regret about it.

Пиво, пиво, пиво, много пива. А что ещё нужно для отличного отдыха. Его было много и оно лилось рекой; а потом была водка, а потом были девки. стоп. как раз этого там скорей всего было не совсем и в достатке. ))))))))

A new trip

So, I finally decided to go for a new trip, and I am going to the Western Ukraine to my friends birthday. Packing my bag right now, filling up my iPod with music and movies so I can kill time in the train. Already got a ticket yesterday; leaving Kiev today at 6:42 PM. Actually, I am very very excited because I’ve never been there and I hope It’s gonna be a lot of fun lol.

You guys, can keep send e-mails to my main box. I will check it from day to day. So… Wish me a good luck

I hate my local post office

Yes. The topic says itself. Our local post office sucks! Every time I went there just to send a latter or two with a greeting card or just couple of DVD’s to my friends (I do this a lot) I have to wait at least 30 mins in line. Every time I came into, some guy is always sending a bunch of “special delivery” envelopes, so I have to wait when employee is getting done with him: place a mark, check the weight, put a sticker, and put information into computer; and he need to do this with an every envelope.

Shame for the service inside the office, they have only one window for buying empty envelope or parcel, sending/receiving “special delivery” items. And what is really makes me mad it’s a girl who worked inside the office, and she is just walked here and there with a damn stupid T-shirt with a sign: “Thank you God, I was not born as Russian” (is not a literal translation). Disgusting! How they even allowed her to start a work day?

Btw, “UkrPost” had a re-branding and I have no idea why they made this. Anyway you can view their new web site here: ukrposhta.com. They should better make a better service inside their company and not just visual changes, which one you may see only outside.

Hey folks! I am back from my summer vacation trip. Actually two weeks ago I have a great time with my friends and family. I travelled Eastern Ukraine, visited the capital of this region and 3 times I were at the river and lakes. In the end I went to the football match. You know, the real one. Because I’ve never was at real match I was really excited. Too bad, maybe I had cold or something, but in the end of the match I’ve had a blood from my nose.

So time to get to the work and study. I am currently looking to get a new part job additionally to the job I am doing with my dad at this time , something that I can do at the second part of the day after the Uni. Need to get some money to spend

Got the new phone week ago. Actually it’s not really just a phone, it’s a Symbian based smartphone; My first smartphone ever Really enjoying it every day. It has GPS, Wi-Fi, Nokia and Google Maps pre-installed, so you can find a place to go, calculate distance, etc. Very useful. I love to have Skype on it as well, so I can call for free to my friends. With a Core Player, I can play any sort of movie file. Anyway, there is a lot of other software out there to expand possibilities of your smartphone.

Later, I’ll upload pics to some of my web albums and I let you know, guys. Need some time to sort everything. Little busy preparing for the Uni right now.

Paul McCartney in Kiev!

On Saturday 14th June 2008, 21:00 at the invitation of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, Paul McCartney will perform to hundreds of thousands of people in Independence Square, Kiev, Ukraine. This groundbreaking event has been named Independence Concert. Paul’s special show will be free to attend and will be broadcasted live on Novy TV.

This exciting event will be seen as symbolic for several generations of Ukrainians. It will allow people of different ethnicities and religions, political preferences and geopolitical orientations to come together around the ideas of peace, love and unity; the very ideas that Paul McCartney with The Beatles helped bring into the World. Independence Concert is an independent social initiative that aims to strengthen the confidence and understanding in the Ukrainian society.
